Expecting a solid tempo set up by Love And Hope crossing from the outside stall. OLOPATADINE (10) finished a one length second on dirt at Mizusawa two back then followed up with another minor placing on dirt at Morioka Dirt over 1600m two weeks ago. Winning rider Toshiya Yamamoto sticks. Well placed and should be in the finish. SAIMON NOBLE (2) was a real eye-catcher last start, coming from the tail over 1400m at Morioka Dirt to finish 0.7 lengths from the winner in third. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and three minor placings from seven outings. Should prove tough to beat. LOVE AND HOPE (12) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by 0.8 lengths over 1000m at Morioka Dirt last start. Among the main chances. KEEP ON TOP (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 7 lengths into fourth. No surprise to see him in contention.
