FLYING CAPITAL (5) is building towards his maiden success, the latest effort a solid second over 1500m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths after he worked home well. He should get every hope from the soft gate with Meech on and looks a huge chance. LANCETTA (12) stalked the pace when resuming at this track and trip last start then worked to the line steadily to finish third. Fitter for that and looks a good winning hope. JUST SWIFT (11) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten narrowly when fourth in a 1620m contest at Donald last start. Off a freshen here but has claims. EGERTON REEF (3) took up the running last time and turned in front but faded to finish fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over this journey at this track. Will give a sight again.
