Baby The Rock, Eye Leads and Espiegle to take up the running at a decent tempo. RISING STEP (10) impressed when successful as favourite on debut over 1400m at this track three months ago and has not raced since. Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. RIKO HUGHES (9) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1600m at this track. Should run on into the finish again. ASCOT MIYAGI (6) went fast early over 1600m at this track last time and defied all challengers to score by half a length. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. ESPIEGLE (4) was an impressive winner last time over 1600m at this track, stalking the pace before lengthening nicely to score by 2.5 lengths. Keita Nishi who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Best figures stack up.
