Hold My Drink to take charge ahead of Setta Icon at a good tempo. INITIATE (4) ten-start Maiden who can overcome the wide gate fourth-up. Ran on late in the soft (7) conditions when fourth over 1200m here. Firmer surface helps her cause and will be closing strongly. HOLD MY DRINK (1) lightly raced gelding who resumed with a fighting on-pace second over 1200m here. Gets a similar set-up again and doesn't have to improve much to win this. SETTA ICON (5) over-raced badly with the blinkers going on with a dismal seventh over 1300m at Canberra. Blinkers come off and worth another chance from the sticky gate. SACRED INFERNO (2) gets a better set-up for this with the tongue-tie going on. Went back from the gate and never looked a threat with a poor eighth over 1175m at Albury. Fitter now and shapes as a value contender. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,1,5.
