HOLY HOLY HOLY (7) was a former Moody-trained galloper who trialled but never raced in Victoria before making debut this area with a strong maiden win. Has upside and is aided by the claim again. Can make it back-to-back wins. CUP OF AMBITION (4) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 4 lengths away in third over 1200m at Mt Isa. Close to a win and gets chance. SALTCLAY (8) is racing well scoring the maiden win here two back then fourth last time when dropping back to 1000m. Extra trip a plus and should take catching. VALIANT JOAN (10) placed here last time and shouldn’t be far away again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Calyx Rose could be value.
