OZZIE CORKA (10) settled close to the pace then found the lead only to be claimed in the straight and finish second last start over 2125m at Penrith, that run on the back of an unplaced effort at Menangle, the run before. Should enjoy a nice smother from this draw and will be looking for a split at some stage. Good enough to put himself in the winners' stall. KARAOKE KING (7) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 4.5 metres from the winner in fourth over 2030m at this track. The driver has some work to do from this wide starting position. This is a nice drop in grade, so he is sure to prove tough to beat. TOUGH TALKS (4) is on the radar after his last-start sixth over 1609m at this track four days ago. MY LADY SARAH (6) is better than her last-start modest effort over 1609m at this track.
