AUSTRALIAN PACING GOLD PACE 1720m

Track: GOOD

KISS (13) scored by 3.5 metres at this track over 2240m last start at her first run back from a spell. She cops a tough gate, but can win again. METEOR MOTH (12) is a quality entire who has amassed two wins and two minor placings from four starts this prep. Kept the ball rolling last start when he scored over 1720m at this track, getting home by a nose. May just need a bit of luck at some point from this difficult draw. Good enough to win a race of this calibre. FRUGAL FARE (4) is one of the main contenders after winning his past five starts, the latest at Bendigo two months ago. Difficult to ignore that sort of form. CRIME WRITER (3) is worth some thought after his last-start sixth over 1720m at this track on May 31.
