CLUB MENANGLE WARATAH FINAL 1609m Track: FAST |

PLAY IT COOL (5) has been racing very well and deserved his win last start, scoring by 5 metres over 1740m at Riverina Paceway as the hot favourite when leading all of the way. Facing a tougher assignment in what is his first run at this track but he is up to the task. EXCESS VITALITY (3) has recorded two wins and two minor placings from the past five starts. Lines up for a hat-trick after a fine win last start when after racing three wide over the early stages found the lead and did well to go on and score by 5.5 metres at Bathurst over 2260m. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. HEAVENLY SONG (8) has been about the mark of late and must be respected, the latest offering a sound third at Tamworth over 1609m.
