ALASSIO should burn across to find the front. Broke maiden status at on debut at Kembla Grange over 1000m. Will have taken good improvement from the outing. Finds a race in which she can continue progressing through the grades. AUNT LIBERTY ran second on resuming at Muswellbrook. This is tougher however she will be fitter second up and is drawn to go one better. A keenly contested sprint is on the cards with Alassio and Aunt Liberty going hard early on. ALASSIO was an impressive debutant for Tulloch Lodge last start over 1000m at Kembla, parking outside the leader but wide then finding plenty in the run home to score with 1.3L to spare. Sure to progress following that run. AUNT LIBERTY returned from a 19-week spell in pleasing fashion last start, leading until the shadow of the post over 1000m at Muswellbrook. Had to do all the donkey work on a heavy track that day so will be a lot fitter for the run. Beaten just 4.1L at Group 3 level when second up last prep which is good form for this. WRITE THIS DOWN struggled on a very heavy track last start in a run worth forgiving. Scored a maiden win on the main track here over 1200m three runs back on a soft surface. In the mix. DEER MOUNTAIN is ready to run a race third start back from a break. SUGGESTED PLAY: Alassio for the win. Showing good promise.
