BOURBON PROOF (1) will be suited to this track as he has been looking for a firmer surface which this track usually offers during the winter. He is very capable at this level, and a better effort is expected. On top for us. WHAT A YARN (2) is another who doesn't want it too wet, and he should be right at home on this track for the first time. He is on a 7-day backup, and he should go close to taking this out. TEXAS (5) has recently joined the Nick Bishara stable and was last seen finishing close up at Awapuni-synthetic 8 days ago. He has won on this track in the past, and he can't be taken lightly. FLORENZA (8) resumes from a short spell, and she is unbeaten in 2 starts over this trip. She might need the run but is still capable of a top 4 finish. DELZ ABEEL (3) was scratched from earlier in the week for this, and he will be tough to hold out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bourbon Proof each-way.
