Kojin Rise to take charge ahead of Grand Picnic at a strong tempo. VIN GALETTE (7) returns from a spell of four-and-a-half months and did win first-up last time in work over 1200m at this track. Comes to hand quickly so a bold showing is expected. AY OH (6) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1400m at Kawasaki. Yet to miss the frame from six starts at today's journey, including two wins and is a key runner. BALANCE THE BOOKS (4) finished in fifth when fresh from a layoff last start over 1500m at this track. Placed at his only other second up appearance. Ideally placed to get off the mark. GOLD GRANT (5) again failed to feature last start, finishing seventh and beaten 4 lengths over 1500m at Urawa. Backmarker who gets home hard. Don't underestimate.
