Strong early tempo with Arzak and Against Odds leading the way. ARZAK (6) was prominent on the corner and battled on well to finish third last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths as favourite. Overdue and looks nicely placed to take this out. HAPPY ROVER (2) settled well back from a good draw last time before running on solidly to finish sixth, beaten 3 lengths, over 1200m at this track. Expected to go well. TENYU (1) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw when resuming last time out then found the line strongly to grab third over 1200m at this track. Should feature in the finish again. CRIOLLO GOLD (10) is a maiden with four minor placings to his name. Could not improve on that record when resuming last start, winding up in fifth over 1200m at this track. Has a good record when second up. Takeshi Yokoyama has registered four minor placings when on board. Don't underestimate.
