Small field in which Norisuke can find the front comfortably at a moderate tempo. NORISUKE (3) is fresh from a spell of 15 months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Ohi over 1200m. In a different yard now. Nicely placed and expected to go well. MAMEZO SHINYA (1) was in contention on the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1400m at Urawa after missing the placings at the previous appearance. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. JASMINE CHARA (2) finished 6 lengths from the winner in sixth last start over 1200m at this track, an improvement on her first-up eighth at this track the run before. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. EMERAL SMILE (4) could only manage fifth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1500m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. No surprise to see her in the frame.
