Not a great deal of early speed and Immortelle may be the one that takes it up. NAVY PIER (1) resumes over a more suitable trip after debuting with a plugging fourth over 1150m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Had the one trial over 800m in readiness for this and can take this out. MAGGIE ROSE (8) was at the second run for the new stable when a disappointing ninth over 1205m at Coffs Harbour. Distance suits and can take a hand in the finish here. SAINT CAYETANO (9) finished sixth last start over 1450m at Muswellbrook when he had to contend with an awkward barrier. Look for an improved run this time. IT'S NOT OVER (3) filly on debut. Trial form only moderate and she is likely to need the run, but worth monitoring any market moves. SUGGESTED PLAY: Navy Pier to get off the mark.
