DAIMEI KUMAMOTO (8) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 3 lengths back in second over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Likely improver with winning claims. MACAROON BLUE (9) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt, beaten 6 lengths into seventh after being in the firing line on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SOL AMOR (1) could only manage eighth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1700m at this track, beaten only 1.1 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. ASK HAPPY MAN (6) could only manage to finish sixth, beaten 14 lengths, after being in contention on the corner at his latest appearance over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around.
