Looks a keen contest with Incivility and Sneaky Freddy pressing for the lead with Checkthemenu and Grinzinger Lass close at hand. CHECKTHEMENU (1) needed his fresh up run here and then contested the pace when lifting late to score by a short-head here a month ago. He meets a similar field here, and with only an extra kilo to carry, he can repeat the dose. GRINZINGER LASS (3) has not run a poor race for some time and did well to finish third here 2 weeks ago when having a torrid trip. She gets a big swing in her draw this time and can take it out. DEPENDENCY (7) has been trying to win a race for some time, and was a beaten odds-on favourite here a fortnight ago over 1400m. She is better off over 1200m, and even though she is still a maiden, she can still figure in the top 3 here. INCIVILITY (5) will be peaking third up and is not the worst for a place. SUGGESTED PLAY: Grinzinger Lass each way.
