1 01:00 bet365 Same Race Multi Maiden Plate 1462m
Fille En Or may well find the front is a race devoid of early speed. OBON (6) finished fifth on debut then improved last start but found one better over 1500m at Mornington, beaten a neck after being prominent at the corner. Peak fitness now and this is no harder than the races he's been in to date. SHE'S ASTUNNERARCH (9) is the only first-starter in the race and finished towards the tail in her latest trial, but won a Flemington jumpout prior to that and in this race of limited depth she can certainly play a role. COLD AZA BEER (1) was prominent until they straightened last time but weakened to finish seventh over 1600m at Ballarat. Drops back in trip here, which might be of assistance. FOXALATION (3) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh at Pakenham over 1200m. Top-three chance. INFER (4) was below his best last time when sixth over 1600m at Seymour, beaten 7 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Obon to win.
2 01:30 Montmorency Probus Maiden Plate 1212m
Small field in which Mongolian City can find the front comfortably at a moderate tempo. SILVER LIGHTNING (4) is yet to break through in six runs, but has come through significantly more challenging assignments than this. Drawn out a touch but the small field suits. MONGOLIAN CITY (2) did little in the debut prep but has changed camps since and trialled nicely, so warrants another chance in this much easier contest. SUPER DIRTY (10) did little and finished 9 lengths from the winner in 10th over 1100m at Ballarat last start, a less impressive effort than her seventh at Bendigo the run before. This doesn't look as hard so she is set to turn things around. ANALYTICAL (1) is on debut for a stable known for turning horses around and while better over further, he gets his chance to play a role in a race of limited depth.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Silver Lightning to in.
3 02:00 Styles Construction Maiden Plate 1212m
Strong tempo expected with Sassidora, Tagamate and Spirit Of Omaha prominent. JOHNNY TIGHTLIPS (2) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 1100m at this track in a tougher race. Has plenty of upside so he will prove tough to beat. IMPACTICAL (1) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 1200m at Pakenham. Strips fitter and can take this out. SASSIDORA (9) was prominent from the outset and fought on for third last start over 1200m at Moe, making it three minor placings in a row. Has the pace to be thereabouts from the outset. Likely improver with strong prospects. TAGAMATE (4) made progress last start to finish second over 1225m at Kyneton. Suitably placed so he can feature again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Johnny Tightlips to win.
4 02:30 O'Briens Electrical Maiden Plate 1612m
Genuine tempo with Hit Squad leading the way. HIT SQUAD (3) is an imported maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing second over 1408m at Kempton Park All Weather six-and-a-half months ago. Second at the only other start and has trialled well enough to suggest he can make a winning Aussie debut. TENNESSEETWOPIECE (8) did little and finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1607m at Stawell last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth on debut at Bendigo the run before. Go off that run. CREUSA (11) is a four-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Pakenham over 1600m, beaten 4 lengths. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration. DEMPSEY (2) got into the top four for the first time in his career last start, albeit beaten a long way, but blinkers go on here and he draws to advantage.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Hit Squad to win.
5 03:00 MC Labour 0 - 56 Handicap 1612m
Russian Roni should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. PENDANTE (9) is knocking on the door after just missing last time over 1600m at this track. Well placed and should be in the finish again. RUSSIAN RONI (5) started a short-priced favourite, and just missed, in a similar race to this last time out coming out of 62 grade of races so there's no reason to think he won't go close again. GARFIELD (3) was prominent at the turn and finished third last start over 1600m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. In the right race and is one of the big hopes. LIKA MOSH (12) found the line nicely to grab second last time out over 1600m at Pakenham and while that was the picnic final, the horse that beat her started favourite at Moe during the week so the form looks good enough for a race like this. CAPTAIN BARBOSSA (1) will be better for the first-up run, draws well and is much more suited up to this trip.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Pendante to win.
6 03:30 C&M Build Group BM56 Handicap 2012m
Ryanman to roll forward and dictate terms. MORISU OJO (3) ran in the VRC Oaks last spring and resumed with a second over 1625m at Werribee, beaten one length. Her best form puts her right in this. PARVATI PARTY (7) peaked on her run when resuming last start over 1625m at Werribee, winding up in fifth. Steps up in journey this time. Usually performs well with that run under her belt, so is among the winning hopes. VIVID BLOOMS (10) had a bit on her rivals last time out, scoring an impressive 2.75 lengths maiden win over 1894m at Kyneton. Re-unites with Will Gordon who was on board last start. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. HOLLY'S STAR (5) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by 0.8 lengths over 2000m at Albury last time out. Will be doing her best work late and a big chance to go back-to-back. IT'S ALL CALM (6) was woeful last start but good in 62 grade the start prior after a maiden win, so worthy of another chance.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Morisu Ojo to win.
7 04:00 Coulter Legal BM56 Handicap 1462m
Plenty of pace from Miss Trustful, Sexy Warrior and Battle Of The Ice primarily. SHORT REPLY (9) finished second two runs back at Kyneton then improved last time out to score by half a length as public elect over 1512m at Geelong. John Allen scored on her last time and retains the mount. Has her share of ability and is certain to be hard to beat in this suitable race. ELVIS (5) was plain last start but ran a great race in 62 grade the start prior and only needs to repeat that to give this a shake. SEXY WARRIOR (7) broke the maiden in dominant style on-pace here last start and it's no shock connections have elected to return to this track. Similar story with TAXING (11), who lost all form before the recent freshen and was a stylish winner at a big price last time out. BENEFITSOFMINE (3) finished second last time over 1483m at Kyneton, beaten 0.8 lengths. In the right race and is sure to prove hard to beat.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Short Reply to win.
8 04:30 Ule Hoof Oil BM56 Handicap 1212m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Come Along Jeffrey. COME ALONG JEFFREY (1) was a brilliant winner here last start, the first career win for apprentice jockey Chelsea Thompson. She's ridden another winner since and having access to her 4kg claim looks a big edge. He'll give them something to catch. RAVENS BAY (10) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at Geelong over 1243m, beaten 0.8 lengths. Cherry-ripe now, drawn ideally and is a winning hope. KAMEZALI (2) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Not as effective last time out when tenth over 1100m at Ballarat, beaten 4.5 lengths, but has the talent to take care of this field. MISS KASEI (9) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Pakenham, beaten 5 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Strips fitter and can improve.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Come Along Jeffrey to win.
