NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:05 JOHNSONS MME COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN HANDICAP 1400m
Genuine tempo from Sweet Smile leading Babushka's Pride. ENCAMPMENT (5) came through a hot maiden at Orange first-up before chasing gamely into the placings last time at the Sapphire Coast. Peaking now and gets his best chance yet to break through. OUBAITORI (2) is close to a win following two narrow defeats. At her top now and finds a nice assignment. This might be her day. BABUSHKA'S PRIDE (8) was prominent until they straightened last time but weakened to finish fifth over this trip at Wagga. Strips fitter third-up in what looks a nice race for her. BROKEN IMAGE (9) only warmed late after getting a long way back at Wagga last start. Strips fitter but will likely get back again from the draw. Watch for her running on if the pace is genuine. WHOOPI DO (4) improved second-up when closing off soundly into the placings. Fitter and is in the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Encampment to win.
2 12:40 VEHICLE & EQUIPMENT FINANCE CG&E MAIDEN PLATE 1175m
Not expecting much speed here in a race devoid of on-pacers. GOLD DECREE (7) returns and makes his stable debut for the McVicar stable. Showed positive signs in Vic without breaking through and looks to have found thin maiden to kick things off for the new stable. Fitter for a recent jumpout and draws well. Bold showing anticipated. PONTE ARCOBALENO (8) returns and has been readied with a trio of solid jumpouts. Kicked off last prep in good order, finding the frame in his first five runs back. Draws to be handy from the inside and is expected to make his presence felt. COORANGA (4) was well supported on debut but never really looked likely after getting a long way back. Had trialled well prior to his first start, so willing to forgive with McDougall sticking, FIRE CHAT (6) was below his best last time in town when dropping out quickly in the lane. His two runs prior were full of merit, so keeping safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Gold Decree to win.
3 01:15 DLG ALUMINIUM & GLAZING COUNTRY BOOSTED CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1175m
Expecting Just Hear Me Out to lead Discotheque at just a moderate tempo. JUST HEAR ME OUT (4) has good early speed and draws the A1. Will bounce straight to the front and will prove very tough to reel in if left alone. LONDON BOY (2) doesn't win out of turn but has returned in good order this prep, beaten narrowly in both runs back at Goulburn. Peaking now and gets in well with the 2kg claimer reuniting. KENDALIA (1) got too far back at Wagga when resuming but did start to warm up late. Better with that under his belt and Boudvillain's booking signals stable confidence. FORREST DANCER (5) broke his maiden in fine style last start at Wagga when finishing over the top. Harder here but gets in light with the 3kg claimer engaged and has upside. Not taking lightly.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Just Hear Me Out to lead the whole way.
4 01:55 MEREDITH JOINERY F&M MAIDEN PLATE 1175m
Expecting Rosie's Hero to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. ANGEL PLEASE (1) progressed nicely at her second outing when beaten half a length in second after racing on speed. Is open to further improvement and looks a major player. BOMEN BABE (3) gets the chance to take much closer order third-up from the kind draw. Watch for sharp improvement. PARIAH FLYER (7) did her best work late to finish third at big odds when resuming at Wangaratta over 1000m. Good signs fresh so deserves a lot more respect this time. FIGHTING FOX (4) also found the frame at big odds last start, getting home strongly at Wagga. Will appreciate the added trip but will need a smart steer from the car park draw. APPLE EYES (2) made a sound return at Swan Hill but was less effective on a bog track second-up. Can bounce back third-up.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Angel Please to win.
5 02:35 MARTINS TRAVEL ALBURY CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1000m
Expecting a strong tempo with Blue Moon Summit, Sizzleist and Bifurcation going forward ahead of She's Elusive and Screen Spirit. SHE'S ELUSIVE (7) got off the mark impressively here last time after a good first-up effort. Is open to further improvement third-up and is a big chance to go back-to-back. BIFURCATION (5) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 900m at Muswellbrook, scoring by a head. Is open to further improvement third-up and cannot be underestimated. SIZZLEIST (1) rarely finishes far away from the action and continues to hold strong market support. Kept fresh with 33 days in between and is among the main hopes again. BLUE MOON SUMMIT (2) should be nearing his peak now and is drawn to advantage. Expect him to make his presence felt.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with She's Elusive.
6 03:10 ALBURY FREIGHT DISTRIBUTION CENTRE BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 2000m
Plenty of pace with Sir Sublime and Ozzy The Equaliser leading from Hells Spirit. DOC MARCH (3) improved sharply last time at Wagga when sent forward and digging deep to keep them all at bay. Gets help under the big weight with the 3kg claimer engaged and should look to push forward again. IT IS TO BE (4) chased hard behind Doc March last time at Wagga. Should be near his top now and gets a good chance to turn the tables. TIMELESS GRACE (10) doesn't win out of turn but is knocking on the door. Was well fancied last time but again found one better at the Sapphire Coast. Drawn awkwardly but keeps Boudvillain and is worth another chance. HELLS SPIRIT (6) also comes through the Doc March race and boasts a good record on the home track. Keeping on side.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Doc March can win again.
7 03:45 ARC MEMBERS SPRINT CLASSIC OPEN HANDICAP 1175m
Strong pace from Foreman's Gully and Arthur The Great matching motors with Pleasurize close at hand. ARTHUR THE GREAT (4) bounced back to form last start at Wagga when beaten a neck by Love Shuck who was then beaten narrowly in the Wagga Town Plate. Should be at his top now fourth-up and will be looking to cross quickly from the wide draw to lead them up. Expecting him to prove hard to reel in. PLEASURIZE (9) scored easily when resuming last month. Was only sound second-up when finishing midfield at Wagga but strips fitter third-up and gets in light at the weights. Maps to be blending into it at just the right time. SAN MARINO (7) returns and is a noted fresh performer. Will pay to watch for any late moves. FOREMAN'S GULLY (12) returns from a lay-off. Winner of a recent Wodonga jump-out. In the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Arthur The Great to win.
8 04:25 LEVEL ONE WINE BAR & CELLARS BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1500m
Good pace from Danish Hussar, Trust In Chad and My Inspiration. BELNERA (5) is as consistent as they come and finds another nice race to put her best foot forward. Never stopped trying last time at Wagga when chasing strongly into the placing on a track that favoured leaders. Only has to hold her form to be very competitive again. OSSIFIED (7) was a big improver second-up at Wagga when chasing gamely into third. Strips fitter third-up and keeps McDougall. Can give this a big shake. SAVAHAY (8) did enough to get the bob here two back, then caught the eye last time at Wagga when closing off strongly into sixth after settling a long way back. Likely to drift back again from the wide draw but can cause some grief late if they overdo it early. CAYMAN ISLAND (3) finds it tough to notch up his second win but his peaks measure right up. Has enough pace to offset the wide alley and is among the key chances. ANCHO (2) was a winner here fresh. Been struggling since but is worth keeping safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Belnera to win.
