Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. WISPINTHEWILLOW (5) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when fourth over 1160m at Turffontein Standside a week-and-a-half ago. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. BEACH WALKER (1) is back at the races for the first time since December 4. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1400m at this track. Definite top-three chance. JAWBREAKER (2) ran 4th in a small field here over 1000m then has since run second last at Turffontein Standside over the weekend. On the quick backup and has claims on best. |

STAR BLAZE (5) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in second over 1000m at this track. Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. DUCHESS DI (2) was close to a win before a break, starting favourite at the latest appearance and finishing third at this track. Expect she has come on over the break. Has ability and can hit the ground running this campaign. NATIONAL BLISS (4) is a first-starter by What A Winter from Circle Of Speed who has in turn produced the winner of a black type. Profiles well for this. EMPRESS WU (1) has been in the money nine times including first-up last start on January 29 when third over 1000m at this track. Has a solid record here with eight top-three finishes to her name. Among the chances. |

Will give a great sight. NIGHTSHINE (9) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 7 lengths into second over 1000m at Turffontein Standside. Has ability and is one of the leading chances. COVER CHARGE (2) is a superbly bred two-year-old colt on debut. By Erik The Red from Congestion Charge who has produced some fine gallopers, including two-time Grade 1 winner Yulong Prince. Key runner likely to measure up. EHHFIFTEENKJOE (5) is a three-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1160m at Turffontein Standside. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat. |

Hard to beat in this suitable race. INCLUSION (4) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 4.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 2000m at this track. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. HEROIC ACT (5) again failed to feature last start, finishing seventh and beaten 10 lengths over 2000m at this track. One of the better hopes. |

PLUS FOUR (5) finished seventh, beaten 4 lengths, last time out over this course and distance after coming from an outside draw. Nice weight drop for this. Better than the latest run suggests and can improve sharply. MAGIC TATTOO (2) produced a better run last start, beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth over 1000m at this track. Better than recent efforts suggest. |

On speed runner, well placed and sure to prove tough to beat. MAVERICK QUEEN (6) safely held last start when beaten 5 lengths into fifth over 1200m at this track. Can bounce back. MYSTICAL MISS (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at Greyville All Weather, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Nicely placed to find some form. |
