NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:50 TIME TO REIGN @ KINGSTAR FARM MIDWAY MAIDEN HANDICAP 1500m
Genuine tempo with She's A Dame leading the way. ALABAMA CHARM (8) comes out of a high rating contest second-up after running on late to finish sixth to Journeyman over 1200m at Warwick Farm in a Super Maiden. Maps well and gives the impression that this trip will suit. NEFERUSOBEK (7) returned a good set of figures at her second career start with an eye-catching fourth over 1300m at this track. Finds a nice race and can play a leading role on the home track. EL QASABI (2) is going better than his form suggests and is capable of taking this out over the 1500m. Surged late from back in the field with a respectable fifth over 1300m at this track. THE IRON STAR (4) made an even return off the one trial when he chipped away late to secure fourth over 1300m at Newcastle. Placed at this trip last campaign and stays in the calculations.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Alabama Charm can get off the mark.
2 02:25 HAPPY 18TH LACHLAN SHEPPARD SUPER MAIDEN PLATE 1300m
Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a solid tempo. BUCKEYE (2) comes here with a fitness edge over the bulk of these and finds an easier contest today. Sat on the fast tempo when a courageous third to Journeyman over 1200m at Warwick Farm in a Super Maiden. Zac Lloyd sticks and expected to go close. DUCK FOR COVER (1) six-year-old gelding who made his debut with a tenacious on-pace fourth over 1200m at this track. Gets the right run and can come on strongly for this. CRUSADER VOYAGE (3) gelded over the break and looks set for a big campaign. Up quickly in class with a fading twelfth in the G1 Spring Champion over 2000m last October. Can sprint well fresh with the two trials under the belt. PAPPA BLUE (4) drifted back from the awkward gate on debut before launching late with a slashing second over 1200m at Canberra. Tackles a stiffer contest and must be kept safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Buckeye can get the job done in a solid contest.
3 03:05 DAPTO LEAGUES CLUB PROVINCIAL CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1000m
Plenty of pressure from Charlina, Just Awesome and Li'l Grug battling for the lead over Ride The River. JUST AWESOME (1) speedy colt who finds a winnable contest third-up. Sat just off the speed and stuck on well with the 59kg to run fourth in a fast run contest over 1000m at Gosford in BM64 class. Go close. CHARLINA (3) finally got off the mark at start seven with an impressive Maiden win in good style over 1000m at this track. Key jockey change and can keep the winning momentum going. ANDARNA (8) Farnan two-year-old filly from Amazing Belle on debut for the Robert and Luke Price stable. Has impressed in all three trials and can compete against her older rivals. Respect. RIDE THE RIVER (2) resumes after he showed ability last prep and is now in the Beer and Carpenter yard. Worked hard from the wide gate before he folded up in the straight to finish sixth over 1200m at Gosford in BM64 class last November. Impressed in his only trial win over 800m at this track. Keep safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Just Awesome in a strong contest.
4 03:40 JACK PRIMMER ELECTRONICS MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
A solid tempo on the cards with Fairway To Heaven taking charge. FAIRWAY TO HEAVEN (10) nice filly who pulled up with a poor post-race recovery on resumption, with a tiring fifth over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Since fitted with a slick 900m trial victory at Rosehill. Tongue control and lugging bit go on and Tommy Berry sticks from the inside gate. Expected to get off the mark. HAY STREET (3) excellent run on resumption when he speared across from the wide gate to grip on and finish second to Journeyman over 1200m at Warwick Farm. Comes back to the 1000m from a much better gate. Cross over nose band goes on and shapes as the main danger. PELEUS (4) best performance in seven career starts when resumed with a fast finishing second over 1000m at Gosford. Likely to go back from the wide gate and be ridden for luck. Place best. BEDDA MIA (6) surprised at the big odds from a let-up when holding a forward position to finish second over 1000m at this track. Fitter now and the claim helps again. Keep safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Fairway To Heaven and Hay Street will fight it out.
5 04:20 APRIL O'SHEA - THE PEOPLE'S CHAMPION CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1500m
Moderate pace from Via Varallo taking it up with Reflect and Hush Hush on his back. POMPATUS (4) resumed with a bang after he accounted for a handy maiden field over 1500m at Newcastle. Gets map favours and looks set for a big campaign as he stretches out in trip. SNEAKY CHOICE (8) indicated she was near her top second-up with a fast finishing third over 1400m at this track in fast time. Can race a little closer from the gate and shapes as the main danger. HUSH HUSH (7) is a talented filly yet to finish out of the money in three career runs. Scored a dominant first-up victory here over 1300m, then up sharply in trip with a fighting second over 1600m at Gosford. Has further upside and no shock to see her win this. SUN WARRIOR (6) will go back again from the wide gate after disappointing as fav with a plugging eighth over 1400m at this track last start. Filter now and can run into the minor money.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,8,7.
6 04:55 SUPERNOVA FINANCIAL CONDITIONAL BENCHMARK 68 HANDICAP 1300m
Genuine pace with Duke Of Camden taking up the running ahead of Aligned and Lone Artist. Even contest with plenty of chances. PELOSA (6) is a progressive mare who chipped away late on resumption with a close-up fifth over 1200m at this track. Lone victory came second-up and gets every chance with Zac Lloyd aboard. ALIGNED (1) consistent gelding who bounced off his good first-up third, with a tenacious victory over 1200m at Gosford with the 61kg. Drawn to get the right run and expected to go close. PERLE DE CHOCOLAT (7) ridden with intent early before being nailed late to finish a close-up fourth over 1300m at Newcastle. Regular rider goes back on and shapes as a value player. CAN EXPECT GREATER (9) found the line nicely third-up with an unlucky second over 1200m at this track. Gets the right tempo again and not without each way claims. The chances don't end there.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 6,1,7,9.
7 05:30 WARILLA BOWLS CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1200m
Mcadam and Ausbred Hed'n'tail possess good early speed. RIVENDELL (4) returns from a lengthy spell. Ploughed through the heavy (9) conditions on debut with a tough Maiden victory over 1200m at Wyong last August. Looks primed for this with the two trials and drawn to stalk the speed. TRANSGRESS (5) found the 1100m a touch too short first-up with an even fourth over 1100m at Gosford. Won over this trip on debut and expected to have come on strongly for this. Genuine contender. MELANITE (1) excellent Maiden winner at the Gold Coast first-up, then faded late to run third over 1000m at Wyong in a strong rating contest. That form has since been franked and is looking for the 1200m now. HEY JUDE (9) resumed with a dominant first-up victory defeating inferior opposition over 1200m at Nowra in the heavy (9) conditions. Tricky map today and minor claims look best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Rivendell can remain unbeaten.
