Thanks to Warwick Ice QTIS Three-Years-Old BM58 Handicap 800m
Small field but plenty of pace engaged, including Sleepy Joe, Sweet Hesitation and Tinkerbella. SWEET HESITATION (1) wasn't disgraced in city class last time when finishing fifth at Eagle Farm. Should enjoy the significant drop in grade and is likely to play a major role. TINKERBELLA (3) resumes today after filling a minor placing at her last appearance at Rockhampton over 1050m on August 21. Sure to make her presence felt. EMBOLDEN (5) looks to launch this prep the way she ended the last four-and-a-half months ago when she scored over 800m at Kilcoy. Sure to be competitive. SLEEPY JOE (2) held on well to finish third last time out over 1400m at Gatton after leading for much of the way. Can feature in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Sweet Hesitation. |

Anticipating good pressure with many of these at the races for the first time. SIMBA'S PRIDE (1) finished second, beaten a head, over 1000m at Toowoomba on debut four months ago and has been kept under wraps since. Has a wide gate to overcome but can return in winning form. HUSSON'S TREASURE (3) is a maiden galloper resuming from a spell after finishing seventh over 1100m at Gatton at the latest appearance on July 10. Looks to be in good order following a recent trial win and is right in this contest. LIRA (9) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when first-up after a spell last start before fading to finish seventh, beaten 14 lengths, over 1000m at Sunshine Coast. Solid top-three claims against this line-up. FOXTROTTING (4) is a first-starter by Foxwedge who was an AUD $800 (Inglis 2026 February (Early) Online Sale) purchase. Ran seventh in a trial at Gold Coast over 1000m. Watch for any market confidence. SUGGESTED PLAY: Simba's Pride to shed the maiden tag. |

Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Raiderlicious. LADY ZAYDI (6) returns from a spell of 11 weeks and did win first-up last time in work over 800m at this track. Looks set to run well again. RAIDERLICIOUS (7) returns from a spell of three months and is having her first run for a new yard. Finished tenth at Goulburn over 1300m when first-up last time in work. Leading hope and should be tough to stop. MR PLAYTIME (3) tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1000m at Sunshine Coast, beaten 8 lengths. Faces an easier assignment so he is likely to feature in the finish. ADDICTIVE PIRANHA (10) returns from a spell of four-and-a-half months and is having her first run for a new yard. Finished eighth at Toowoomba over 1000m when first-up last time in work. Respect any market confidence. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Lady Zaydi. |

Bileena Stud Maiden Handicap 1350m
Slick pace with Kobability finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. YES DONALD YES (1) debuted a month ago when he finished fourth over 1200m at this track, beaten only a long neck. Better for the run and can improve sharply. KOBABILITY (6) has been kept fresh since running below par last time, finishing eighth over 1400m at Sunshine Coast. Has a high cruising speed and is expected to be in the finish. RAZOR'S MAGIC (11) made progress last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in third over 1200m at Beaudesert. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. SUMMER READY (12) has finished runner-up in three of her past four and is a must for the exotics players. SUGGESTED PLAY: Yes Donald Yes to break the maiden status. |

PICKLEBET GET YOUR PICKLE ON BM60 Handicap 1500m
Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Meltdown. LINWAR (8) registered his first win last start over 1400m at Gatton, getting home by 3.5 lengths. Hannah Richardson was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Nicely placed to double the win tally. MELTDOWN (2) raced on the speed from the outset and went to score by 0.9 lengths last time over 1400m at Sunshine Coast. Comes down a level this time and has claims on his best form. KEY COMPONENT (11) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but just found one better over 1990m at Ipswich, beaten a long neck. Has her share of ability and is a definite top-three prospect. PROPOSE (12) placed over this track and trip two back and is usually thereabouts. In the mix for some minor money. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 8,2,11.12. |

MATTS MOWERS & MORE BM65 Handicap 1350m
Powerful Eagle and Rothesay's Lad will settle forward and can set a moderate tempo. BLUISH HUE (7) ran below expectations last time at Ipswich over 1200m, finishing fifth and beaten 2.25 lengths. This is a lot easier and can atone for that latest run. MORE FOR READY (9) settled well back and never threatened when sixth over 1350m at Doomben last time out. Drops back in company and can get the job done against this line-up. CARDIOLOGIST (2) finished second last start over 1400m at Dalby, beaten 0.9 lengths. Draws favourably and is certainly hard to beat in this suitable race. SUKHBIR (3) will be ready to peak now third run back from a spell and is next in line in a race decimated by scratchings. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bluish Hue to salute. |

Les Clarke Memorial 0 - 55 Handicap 1350m
Genuine tempo with Black 'N' Deadly and Butwedid pressing for the lead. BUTWEDID (5) took advantage of the good draw and landed on the pace last start before tiring to finish fifth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 1400m at Gatton. Sure to give backers a sight and will take some beating. COOL MUSIC (10) resumes today after filling a minor placing at her last appearance at Ipswich over 1680m on April 21. Should be hard to stop while fresh. BLACK 'N' DEADLY (19) tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1200m at Beaudesert, beaten 5 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. DOITLIKEMAXWELL (6) gets the reliable Webster/Tilley combination and can feature despite the wide draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Quinella 5,10,19. |
