Will derive great benefit from that outing and shapes as a top-three player. TWICE AS QUICK (8) two career starts have been average and will appreciate Ella Bent's 3kg claim. In leading yard and can race a little closer today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tassy Fox can get the job done. |

PALAIS DU RHIN (7) was easily beaten at her last run before spelling and didn't fare any better when resuming over 1175m at this track five weeks ago. Gets her chance to place in this small field. APPLE CIDER (8) six-year-old gelding who mixes form. Solid fresh at this track but poor last start at big odds. Each-way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Narcissist and Screen Spirit look set to fight it out. |

Solid tempo with Needawinna possessing enough dash to find the front. INITIATE (3) consistent mare who returns after running some tidy races on the provincial circuit last time in work. Returns with the one 900m trial and anywhere near her best can win this for the new stable. PRINCESS PRUSSIA (6) was unwanted in betting on resumption with a fast finishing eighth over 1000m at Wangaratta. Well placed with the claim and can figure prominently. LETHAL LION (2) nice return at Tumut with a fighting second over this trip with the 59kg. Up in class and not to be overlooked. NOTAFONI (5) three-year-old filly by Anders from Tiffoni on debut today. Watch for any market confidence. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 3,6,2. |

Perfectly Good is the likely leader and should be able to get there comfortably. DISTILLERY (1) progressive gelding starting to put it all together as he steps up in trip. Failed narrowly in a thrilling finish to run second over 2246m at Seymour in BM62 class. Well placed to return to winning form. THE SWEENEY (5) complete mystery last time out with a dismal last over 1950m at Yarra Valley. Since fitted with a 1000m trial at Wagga. Assess on his good win three-back over 2100m at Echuca. KING EDWARD (2) former SA-trained galloper who hung out badly for the new yard with a fading fifth over 2200m at the Sapphire Coast. Good effort two back at Oakbank and since fitted with a 900m trial. Can return to form and Keatings' retains the ride. HELLS SPIRIT (6) holding his form this prep and steps up to this trip for the first time. Gripped on late with a respectable fourth over 1600m at this track. Stays in the calculations despite drawing out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Distillery looks too good for these. |

Just a moderate tempo headed by Seasmoke, My Catalyst and Carramar. MASAKARI (3) is a lightly raced gelding heading in the right direction. Improved sharply at his second race start with an eye-catching third over 1400m at Wangaratta. Duffy keeps the ride from the inside gate and is expected to go close. SEASMOKE (15) worked hard early from the wide gate with a fading sixth over the mile at Wagga. This looks easier from the good gate. Each way. CARRAMAR (5) had mixed luck in the three career runs and steps up to the 1400m for the first time. In a leading yard and not to be overlooked. MO SPIRIT (16) likely to add some value, if he can improve on his run here last time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Masakari looks hard to catch. |

FOURTHTIMELUCKY (9) talented gelding who indicated a win was imminent after savaging the line with a close-up sixth over 1170m at Wangaratta second-up. Key jockey change from the good and will relish the fast tempo. Hard to hold out. JESTERS AWARD (11) lightly raced filly who was a total forgive from the wide gate with a dismal eighth over 1000m at Wangaratta. Drops in weight from the good draw and shapes as a leading prospect. OLATUNDE (7) returns from a let-up after running some respectable races in Victoria. Ticking along nicely with a 700m jump out at Bendigo and look for him late. DITTERICH (4) has been knocking on the door including a last start third over 1000m at Canberra when only 2.25 lengths from the winner. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fourthtimelucky doesn't have to improve much to take this out. |

FERRARI MAN (1) worked hard from the sticky gate with a fading fourth to Zelestial over 1600m at Dubbo in a tougher contest. Poorly drawn again but stays in the mix.
