Leigh Jordan One Agency Collins Real Estate Maiden 1350m
Strong pace with Messenger Of God, Smash 'N' Grab and Turfaction paving the way. SH'BOURNE RISING (9) has more upside than most and gets her chance to get off the mark. Two start maiden who has wound up strongly at each and hasn't been far from the winner. Extra trip looks ideal and should go close. THICKSKINNED (6) wasn't far away fresh then drifted back this course and distance last time but charged home late for a close-up fourth. Fitter and looks hard to hold out again. ARCADE BOY (1) had his first start here last time and raced off speed with cover but seemed bogged down on the inside and finished seventh. Was only beaten 2.5 lengths and with the claim again gets a chance to atone. LEO DAVINCI (2) has also placed both tries at the course and distance and looks a leading player. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sh'bourne Rising gets her chance. |

Moderate tempo with Coal River leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. Even race with plenty of win chances. BAYSIDE (2) was strong fresh then a little off best here last time when fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths. Drops in weight and fitter again. Goes well here and worth another try. COAL RIVER (3) is rarely far away and although beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth here last time that was in a Class 4. Back a couple of notches and off the inside can atone. HARTMAN (4) is another speed influence in the race. Winner here and with the claim will take catching. MANHATTAN NIGHTS (5) is a handy type resuming and might want further in time but goes very well here and will be winding up late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bayside can atone. |

Cracking tempo with Geegeeschaser and Fillentina leading the way. STROAK OF ART (3) is a progressive type who tackled far tougher company last time at Launceston. Freshened for this and meets a far easier line-up. Well worth another chance. OZONICA (2) is a promising gelding who was very heavily bet on debut here and after stalking the speed drew clear with a bit in hand. Tricky gate but has upside and can make it back-to-back wins. CELESTIAL GLOW (6) was beaten a fair way last time but is better than that. Placed only try here and with the light weight will be tough to stop late. OLIVE GIRL (5) has gone a long time since winning but has ability and placed 2/2 while fresh. Has the ability and can run into the finish. GEEGEESCHASER (7) is an honest type who has placed four of last six and will take running down. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stroak Of Art worth another chance. |

Ladbrokes Community Sports Series Maiden 1150m
Gladding and Guber possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. AGADOO (9) is an interesting runner who was heavily bet on debut on the Sunshine Coast and after getting back to last made good late ground. Spelled again and resumes here in easier company and leading rider aboard. The rating from his debut run augers well for this, despite finishing 10th. Watch the market closely. GUBER (1) was safely held fresh then ran a much better race here last time when runner-up. Never seems to draw a gate but has good pace and will take catching. GLADDING (5) showed ability in two runs in first campaign including a near miss at Launceston before a spell. Recent trial winner who has good speed and expected to feature fresh. REBEL'S GIRL (7) was well in the market on debut and turned in a forgive run after playing up before the race. Spelled and unbeaten in two trials since. Worth another try. OUT OF THE SPHERE (4) wasn't beaten far at last run before a break and should give a sight fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Giving Agadoo another chance. |

Stone Cold Stunner and Mightymaxi to take it up. VINO NOVELLO (2) is a versatile type who was a 2100m winner two back then had a let-up and although got back charged home over 1350m to finish runner-up latest. Fitter for it and back to the mile suits. Will sit closer and should prove tough to beat. ELEGANTLY WRITTEN (4) was a narrow mile winner two back then was a close-up third at the tip last time. In top form and reunited with Newitt. Goes close again. STONE COLD STUNNER (1) is back in winning form with an on-pace win over 1350m last time. At peak and off the inside will take catching this trip. ALPINE BLAST (5) is a veteran galloper with plenty of experience this course and distance and can sneak into the frame on best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up in Vino Novello. |

Kevin Sharkie Maiden/Class 1 1650m
Genuine pace with Beau Warrior taking up the running ahead of Miss Terasita and Arctic Attraction. Even race where you wouldn't rule any of them out. JUDGE JENNI (4) continues to race in great form though, the latest losing in a bob of the head here over a little further. Rarely far away this trip and Newitt has placed 4/6 rides. Would be keen to get off the mark. COOL CONQUEST (3) tackled the same race last time and although finishing eighth was less than two lengths from the winner. Knocking on the door for a win and among the main hopes. BRIGHT NIGHT (8) tackled far tougher company last time at Launceston over 1400m and was safely held. This is more suitable though and up to a mile. Gets chance to atone. TIZSA NICE DROP (6) hasn't been far off a win and goes well here. Has the claim and a low draw. BEAU WARRIOR (1) is a speedy type who will take catching again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Judge Jenni. |

Hospitality Tasmania Carpet Charge 1009m
Only a small field with Sanniya likely to find a comfortable lead. Hard to go past SANNIYA (5) who is a promising filly and will be a hot favourite. Smashed a few of these last time and although up in grade drops in weight for winning. Was too speedy and will take catching again. ALPINE WOLF (4) resumed from a long break in the Newmarket and was well held. Freshened since, back in grade and back in trip. Has a strong record here and looks the main danger to the promising filly. TURK WARRIOR (1) looks next best. Goes very well fresh and a good record course and distance. Will be winding up late. The others are surely making up the numbers. SEYDOUX (6) ran fourth behind Sanniya last time but was beaten seven lengths. Could sneak into the finish. BOLD INSTINCT (7) ran fifth behind her fresh and was beaten 10 lengths. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Sanniya. |

Prince Of Khatun, Mastretta and Simply Deep all possess good speed. Hard to go past the super consistent PRINCE OF KHATUN (3) who had put together a string of second placings before a big win last time this course and distance. Up in class but drops in weight and has a low draw. Unbeaten from two tries course and distance and expected to go close again. BERSERKER (5) looks the biggest danger on the back of a strong fresh-up win, getting back but storming home to score narrowly. Fitter and can go on with it. GET 'EM WARRIOR (6) was the horse Berserker nabbed late last time and does meet him better at the weights here. Has to be included. MASTRETTA (1) is an honest mare resuming on the back of a trial win. Trip suits fresh and has the talent to go close. SIMPLY DEEP (2) is fitter for one run back and can sneak into the finish this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Prince Of Khatun. |

Ladbrokes Devonport Cup 1880m
Good speed from General Assembly and Vega Magnifico, joined by Sushi Express. Much of the race centres around the Sushi Express form but going with KALIUWAA FALLS (4) who could be over the odds. Has raced twice at listed level this time in, finishing fifth at both, the latest in the Tasmania Stakes. The extra trip is a plus and fitter again. Has a good record course and distance and leading rider stays aboard. Looks set to improve sharply third run in. EARENDEL (8) was a close-up fourth behind Sunshine Express here over 1650m last time out. Probably has the most upside of this field and better off at the draw can turn the tables. THE LONGEST YARD (12) was just edged out in the same race when runner-up and is a super consistent type drawn well and should be in the finish again. BLONDE STAR (6) went close last time behind Sushi Express and continues to race well. Tricky gate but among the chances. SUSHI EXPRESS (1) beat them all last time fair and square but does have a tricky gate to overcome. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kaliuwaa Falls could be overs. |

Eaglefurther is the probable leader in the small field. TUSKEGEE (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in third over 1880m at this track after being prominent at the turn. Loves it here and has placed 3/3 course and distance. Gets chance. CHICANE (1) finished a fraction ahead of Tuskegee last time when runner-up. Has been building to a win and is long overdue. Looks well placed so expect another big run. EAGLEFURTHER (3) pushed forward and led throughout to score a 2-length win over 1600m at Launceston last time. Should be ridden positively again and will be in this for a long way. THIN RED LINE (6) ran on hard to score here last time. Has a nice weight with the claim and can measure up again. OPENSEA (4) has been racing well without winning. On the quick back-up after finishing a close-up sixth at Hobart five days ago. Has claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Tuskegee. |
