COMBAT IZUMO (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when fourth in a 1300m contest at Mizusawa three-and-a-half weeks ago after being prominent at the corner. Meets some better types this time but a big run will not surprise. BELLS WALKURE (4) made progress last start to finish second over 1300m at Mizusawa. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she cannot be underestimated. VALUABLE (9) finished 10 lengths from the winner in fifth at her most recent appearance over 1000m at Monbetsu. Solid top-three chance on her best figures. |
