MOFEED (2) is a consistent conveyance who has hit the top-four at his past nine starts and strikes a very winnable contest here. Rates the testing material against this line-up. DUSAN (1) loves it here around this circuit with two wins and a placing from just three spins. Gets some weight relief with the 3kg claim and looms as the main danger. MISS MOLOKAI (5) has been right there in six of her past seven starts and will be rock-hard fit for this. Top-three candidate. Not much early pressure but Smart Recognition, Surcote and Isle Ornsay can take up forward spots. SMART RECOGNITION (1) returned in good order with a strong win at Beaudesert and will have come on with that run now in the locker. Winning hoop Thornton stays in the saddle and can go back-to-back to start the campaign. CREDIT CONTROLLER (4) will be ready to peak now third-up from the spell and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Expect a bold showing. MA'S EPIC (6) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome last time out but the form prior was full of merit. Can bounce back. WITHOUT A DOUBT (7) is back from a lengthy break but has revved up for this with a recent trial and is one from one around this circuit. Will be hitting the line with gusto. SURCOTE (9) next in line with the claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Smart Recognition to win again. |

Solid tempo headed by Outdoor Cat and Soo Rad. ON POINT PIXIE (2) just missed the placings in town when resuming and will find this assignment much more to her liking. HOSTILE LA VISTA (6) just ran into one better when facing the starter for the first time and will have derived a stack of benefit from that race day experience. Look for a strong showing. SYMO'S BOY (8) has been right there in both career outings and gets the reliable Dunn/Mallyon combination. Top-three aspirations despite the sticky draw.
