NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:37 Thank You ROCT, Super Opening Night! Maiden 1400m
Swear He Is Good has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. Tough. SWING LOW (10) has needed the two runs back over short sprints on the synthetic. The former Victorian is much more effective on the turf and at this distance range. Has a handy 2kg claim and we're likely to see quick improvement. ARSENALE (7) switched from a Victorian yard and didn't get warm over a 1000m, briefly freshened. Maps well and is in well with the 2kg claim. Has some ability and can lift stripping fitter over a more suitable distance. HENLEY EXTREME (8) resumes and ran some nice races over further when trained in Sydney. Has been off the scene for 467 days but won a recent Launceston trial. Wasn't beaten far on the Devonport synthetic before the spell over 1350m and is worth a betting watch. Ditto ALPINE HONEY (1) who is a former Victorian back in trip freshened 57 days. Has the blinkers applied for the first time and Darmanin's booking interests.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Swing Low.
2 02:10 Ladbrokes Mega Multi Maiden 1200m
Solid tempo with Arianna's Gold possessing enough dash to find the front. SNOW MAIDEN (11) closed off strongly last start beaten 1.3 lengths over 1150m on the Devonport Synthetic. She just missed three back here on debut and maps well. Peaks and will be tough to stop again. CARNOTAURUS (6) settled well back and found the line nicely beaten 2.25 lengths over this journey at Hobart. Is sure to have come on and keeps the handy 2kg claim. Will finish hard. LUCKY COUNTRY (13) debuts and his two recent trials have been sharp. Has an inside gate and Pires aboard and a bold run is on the cards. ARIANNA'S GOLD (5) resumes and placed in a recent trial at the track. She was only beaten 1.4L here two back on debut and will be naturally improved. Needs some luck from the awkward barrier.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Snow Maiden.
3 02:45 Book in Mayhem in the Mounting Yard 21st November C1 Hcp 1200m
Solid tempo anticipated with Fillentina leading the way. RESPITE (2) was backed off the map on debut (synthetic) and didn't have much luck. Went back and bolted in delivering her Maiden. She has plenty of scope for improvement and is likely to be just as effective on the turf. GEEGEES LEGACY (4) resumes and Darmanin's engagement suggests he's pleasing the stable. Missed a whisker here two back over this distance and has trialled positively for his return. Maps well. GEEGEESCHASER (10) led and just missed on the synthetic and will be better for it. Back on turf no issue and she also has claims. THANKGODITSFRIDAY (1) is a former Kiwi resuming for the Keys yard. Shown ability and has the inside gate and 2kg claim. The late betting needs monitoring. Stablemate GOLDEN SWEET HEART (5) resumes and has shown enough to include at a price. Has a solid trial under the saddle and draws inside. Will carry just 53kg with the 4kg claimer engaged.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Respite.
4 03:20 Ladbrokes Big Bets Maiden 1100m
Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a keen tempo. This should prove a good form race. SKY OF GOLD (8) debuted in stronger company and there was merit in the effort. Resumes owning a trial win here and has a handy 2kg claim and a low barrier. Has the ability, and as with others in this race, the betting will be key. CELESTIAL GLOW (5) resumes and has been unlucky not to have broken through. Has an awkward gate but will be naturally improved and has had a soft trial. TIMELY NEEDS (4) debuts and placed in a strong trial at the track. The gate isn't ideal, but Darmanin's engagement suggests he's pleasing the yard. SWIFT FORCE (9) debuts and has won all three trials, with the most recent at this track. Jumps from the inside barrier and looks set to race well.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Sky Of Gold.
5 04:00 Field Family Class 6 1400m
Genuine tempo with Shy Guy leading the way. SHY GUY (7) was straight back into the winner's stall, leading and winning at Hobart over a mile. Drops back 200m off a 47-day freshen and will position forward. He should go close. GO JEANIE (8) seeks the hat-trick off synthetic wins and returning to turf won't be an issue. She may need further now but it's hard to question the form. MAKE A DECISION (5) has been busting to win in stronger grade and has been freshened. He's worth another try over the longer sprint. ADACHI (4) is a leader who's won his last two on the synthetic. Uses the inside barrier and will give a sight. SAILOR (3) resumes and has trialled well. Worth a look at a price.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Shy Guy.
6 04:30 Dine at the TTC this Spring www.tasmanianturfclub.com C3 Hcp 1100m
Cracking tempo with Popilita and Geegees Missile leading the way. Competitive. The speedy GEEGEES MISSILE (8) went close in Stakes grade before the spell and has gone back-to-back this preparation, heavily bet. She has more to give and has the early tow to position forward from the wide barrier. Darmanin stays aboard and that adds to the confidence. NAVAL ANTHEM (2) improved his numbers at Hobart in stronger 61 days ago and is back with a Longford trial win under the saddle. Maps well and performs on the fresh side. Just has to hold the form to feature. RARE ORO (10) was plainer here last time but impressed winning a CL1 easily at Hobart prior. Is on a 7-day return and is a chance to bounce. NGAPALI BEACH (6) resumes and is a first-up winner who'd be a chance if presented on-song. Won a recent trial at Longford.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Geegees Missile.
7 05:05 Book in Jackson Security Newmarket Night 21st November BM60 Hcp 1600m
A solid tempo is anticipated with Doonican and I'm Chev kicking up to hold out the next wave. SISTER ROYAL (9) switched from a Victorian stable and improved sharply winning here before repeating the dose at Hobart, also over 1400m. She's been freshened and kept up to the mark with a Longford trial win. With average luck in the run, she can go on with the job. AGNETE (3) has been within range her last two on the synthetic and has better figures on turf and over the mile. Has a handy 2kg claim and can get into the finish. EXALTED CROWN (5) led and was narrowly beaten in stronger on the synthetic. Uses the rail and will be in the finish if she brings the form to the grass. I'M CHEV (4) has a wide barrier but will push forward and can't be ruled out.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Sister Royal.
