NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:10 NUTRIEN COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN SHOWCASE PLATE 1100m
Expecting Race To Arms to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. UNSOLVED (5) last appeared on debut over 1200m at Yarra Valley in December where he wasn't beaten far after getting too far back. Now with Mack Griffith and has trialled twice leading into this. Should be good enough to play a major role. RACE TO ARMS (3) led and looked home only to be nailed on the line when favourite on debut over 1000m at Dubbo recently. Great chance to go one better with the help of the inside alley. BULLANT (9) returns from a five-month spell. Showed she has talent during the maiden prep and should return bigger and better this time in. FRATIANNO (2) is still chasing his elusive maiden win after 13 career starts. Resumed last start with a second over 1000m at Tamworth. Include.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Hard race with so many resuming - lean to Unsolved.
2 01:47 DUBBO CITY & GILGANDRA TOYOTA CLASS 1 & MAIDEN SHOWCASE PLATE 1600m
Cool Machine to take charge ahead of Pontoon Prince at a good tempo. CASINO DIVA (6) ran a decent race when fresh from a spell two back. Settled at the tail and failed to come on last time over 1300m at Dubbo. Raced once over the mile last prep and scored so she can improve sharply out to this more suitable journey. SUNDAY (12) is still a maiden but her best figures this prep suggest she is in contention. Best run was two back when fourth after leading over 1500m at Hawkesbury. Worth an investment at generous odds. PRINCE OF PROPHETS (2) stormed home but just missed over this distance at Dubbo last start. In fine form and looks a serious contender. HAMMOON SENSATION (4) lightly raced gelding who progressed nicely last start with a win by a nose over 1400m at Dubbo. Can go on with it.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Casino Diva each-way.
3 02:20 NALDER FAMILY COUNTRY BOOSTED SHOWCASE CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1600m
Solid pace with Taipan Legend finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged.  COELLA (4) settled next to last in a big field and struggled to get involved in a Rosehill Highway over 1500m last start. That came off a seven-day back-up which may have been too quick. Cherry ripe after four runs back and might need this trip now. GREEN RUN (5) backs up three days after a game third over this distance at Orange where he raced on the speed and wouldn't lie down. Drops 5kgs and should give a tremendous sight. ALWAYS FIORENTE (8) wasn't suited dropping back to 1300m last start at Dubbo so the failure is best overlooked. Has a fine record at the mile including a win here. Can bounce back. TAIPAN LEGEND (1) has been freshened up since a gutsy second over 2100m at Tamworth five weeks ago. Twice a winner at this distance and should give a good account again. AUTUMN SONG (3) has won three from five at the mile and is ready to find form at the third run back from a spell.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Coella on top.
4 02:55 DAD N DAVE TURF/SOUTHERN CROSS TURF/ELITE SAND & SOIL/EVERGEEN TURF SUPER MAIDEN SHOWCASE HANDICAP 1300m
Expecting Heartfelt Award to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. Bjorn Baker's ALABAMA CHARM (2) is back from a six-month spell. Finished second in a Wellington Boot then was tested in the Group 2 Percy Sykes at the close of last prep. Should be forward enough following two trials. Should be too good for these. CHAMBER OF SECRETS (8) progressed nicely last time out at just her second appearance, making late ground to grab second over 1400m at Scone. Coming back in trip doesn't looks ideal but she is better than most of these and should give a great sight. VENDOR (5) raced once for Godolphin back in June and finished midfield at Sale. Now with Mack Griffiths and has trialled once for the new mentor. Betting watch advised. MAYBE NOW (1) has raced twice this prep and been on the wrong side of photo finishes on each occasion. Nicely drawn and sure to run well again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Alabama Charm.
5 03:30 SWANNY'S FOODS CLASS 2 SHOWCASE HANDICAP 1100m
Expecting Star Stroke to take up the lead at a genuine tempo.  TRUMPTY DUMPTY (10) has returned in good order. Easy winner first-up at Narromine then finished the race off well but was never a threat last start over 1300m at Dubbo. Back in trip but gets some weight relief so will be hard to hold out. SORRENTO PALACE (7) got a long way back and was never a factor last time out over this distance at Dubbo. Generally reliable so that run was a mystery. Must be given another chance. COMONGIN (3) started favourite but as no match for Trumpty Dumpty first up over today's journey at Narromine. Lightly raced three-year-old who can improve sharply off that run and make things interesting. KEADOOL (6) led and gave a kick before being ambushed in the shadows last start over this distance at Narromine. Can run another cheeky race. ALMOST MAYBE (4) found form last start and can go on with it now.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Trumpty Dumpty.
6 04:05 KEADY FAMILY COONAMBLE SHOWCASE CRYSTAL SPRINT 1200m
Expecting Stratified to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. TAINUI (8) returned from a spell last start and almost made an immediate impact, edged out in a BM82 over this distance at Tamworth. Ultra-reliable sprinter who only needs to hold that performance level to be right in the finish. MYSTERY LAD (1) led all the way and just held Tainui at bay when they clashed at Tamworth recently. Quality country sprinter with outstanding 1200m stats. Has a wide gate and a big weight but still poses the greatest threat. RUNNING BEAR (5) was too bad to be true at Dubbo last start. Best figures measure up favourably in this company so at decent odds he is worth another chance. STRATIFIED (7) is not a noted first-up performer so his tiring effort when resuming at Dubbo can be overlooked. Nock has won three from five aboard the gelding and he reunites. Likely improver. SMART AND DAPPER (10) is up in grade but at the weights from the inside stall is worth plenty of thought.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Tainui to win.
7 04:40 QUBE AGRI ***BIG DANCE ELIGIBILITY*** COONAMBLE GOLD SHOWCASE CUP 1600m
Moderate tempo expected with Mawjood likely to find the front over Lockdown Gamble and Justadeel. MAWJOOD (4) stalked the leader then sprinted away for an easy win over 1400m at Rosehill last start. Untried at the mile but the manner of the last win under 61kgs suggests he will run it out. INQUIRING MINDS (2) settled back in the field and made no impression when resuming over 1400m at Randwick last time out. The winner of two from three over this distance so watch for a far better run here. FORTUNE (1) dug deep to just prevail when fresh from a spell over the Randwick mile recently. Should hold that form second-up and has the class to shoulder the big weight. Victorian raider JUSTADEEL (3) is lightly raced and very reliable. All three runs this prep have been strong efforts and warrant the long trip north. LOCKDOWN GAMBLE (7) is going okay and gets a lot of weight off the top fancies so he could be a knockout runner.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Mawjood.
8 05:15 WOODHAMS PETROLEUM/PARAGON BENCHMARK 66 SHOWCASE HANDICAP 1400m
Despite the wide draw Star Intrigue should cross and set a genuine tempo. RELEASE POINT (4) opened this prep with a couple of wins before failing in town last time when tested over 1900m. Back to a more suitable trip today so it will be no surprise to see him make amends. SHADOW DANE (14) missed the start and couldn't get involved at his latest run over 1300m at Dubbo. Fitter now and draws a decent gate for the first time this prep. Watch for a much better run. I'M SCARLETT (9) stormed home to win over this trip at Wellington two back. Struggled in open company last time but back in a BM66 she makes plenty of appeal. STAR INTRIGUE (12) dominated in front at Dubbo last start. Up in grade but should give backers a sight.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,14,9,12.
