STHENNO (6) won at Funabashi two starts ago but was below her best at a more recent appearance, finishing ninth over 1500m at this track. Finds a nice race and can make amends. |

BOAT RACER (2) has not appeared since racing on the speed on debut and finishing second over 800m at this track on June 23. Jumps from a good gate and looks well placed to be in the finish again. PEQIN PEQIN ITETE (9) started at $5.90 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 7 lengths at Kawasaki over 1400m after being prominent at the corner. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to turn things around. BILANCIA (8) ran a better race last start at his second appearance, finishing second over 1400m at this track. Open to further improvement. PEACH PEACH (5) was prominent from the outset on debut last start and held on well for second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 1400m at this track. Has upside and must be respected. |

TAISHITAMONDARO (11) improved last start to finish third over 1300m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. ANTAGONISTA (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1500m at this track, beaten 7 lengths into seventh. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. TRINITARIANISM (9) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 1300m at this track. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and four minor placings. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. |

POWER OF THE KING (3) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when a neck away in second over 1400m at this track when he was always up in the leading division. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. PEPTIDE SHINANO (4) was expected to do more last start when out of the placings over 2000m at this track, beaten 12 lengths. Nicely placed to turn things around. CELEB UMAZAMMAI (5) ran below expectations last time at Funabashi, finishing eighth and beaten 4.5 lengths. In the mix. |

No reason he cannot salute again. MISS RAVE BUMP (9) has been kept fresh since running below her best at the last appearance five-and-a-half weeks ago, finishing sixth over 1400m at this track. Naoki Machida has a solid record aboard this four-year-old filly so she should be given another chance. COOLIDGE TESORO (12) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his only appearance last prep at this track over 1500m on May 26. Should park just off the speed. Not to be discounted. |

MEISHO BENIBANA (8) ran a better race last start, finishing 2.5 lengths away in fourth over 1400m at Kawasaki. Has her share of talent and is a top-three prospect. |

Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. DISRUPTOR (2) turned in a modest performance when ninth last start over 900m at Kawasaki, beaten 10 lengths. That followed a good first-up win at Kawasaki. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to bounce back. YUNO ONE ONE (10) never really threatened when resuming last time out, finishing midfield and beaten 7 lengths over 800m at this track. Ryouma Kimatsuka is back on and has a solid record on the four-year-old, including two wins. Has claims on her best figures. SOUTHERN LAKE (7) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing tenth at Kawasaki over 900m after she was well back on straightening. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance. |

Among the winning hopes. A TRACKS (9) finished 11th when resuming in Group 3 grade at Chukyo Dirt over this distance last time out. Form over this journey is strong, boasting three wins from six starts. Should be poised just off the lead. One to consider. Has the gate speed to negate a tricky draw. Shapes as one to consider. YAMABUKI (12) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for fifth over 1800m at Funabashi. Outdashed but got home well and looks suited by the extra ground. Can sneak into the finish. |
