NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:35 VALE GORDON (JACK) BROWN COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN PLATE 1614m
Moderate tempo expected with Star Of Kongo likely to find the front over Redaluca Girl and Good Karma. REDALUCA GIRL (9) is a consistent mare who finds her race third up. Stalked the speed when she chipped away late with a respectable third over 1600m at Tamworth. Adept in all going and should prove too sharp for these. GOOD KARMA (8) lightly raced mare progressing well this prep. Jumped in trip when she gripped on late for a tough second over 1412m at Coffs Harbour. Will have little trouble running the mile from the good gate. STAR OF KONGO (6) has come back in distance at his last two outings with instant improvement. Led them up at a decent tempo before being nailed late when a narrow second over 1700m at Grafton. Has the speed to get across from the draw and expected to take a hand in the finish. KITSILANO (5) made progress finishing midfield last start at Grafton on soft going, looks suited and worth including.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Redaluca Girl is ready to get off the mark.
2 02:10 CLEAVERS TYRES MAIDEN PLATE 1007m
Anticipating good pressure with many of these facing the starter for the first time. Debutantes look to hold the key to the race. DIJON AUTRE (2) four-year-old gelding by Magna Garcia from a Snitzel mare on debut for the Jake Hull yard. Has won with plenty up the sleeve in both trials and no surprise to see him stamp his authority. ARGYROS (1) Luke Thomas trained gelding by Dárgento from Pure Intentions facing the starter for the first time. Undefeated in three trials and gets his chance from the good gate with Penza aboard. Solid top three prospect. THE SIMPLE LIFE (7) deep into the prep and gets a more economical run from the inside gate. Motored late from the outside gate when second over 1000m at Tuncurry in the heavy (8) going. NOVAYA (5) nicely bred mare by sire Russian Revolution from the stakes-winning mare Vanilla Gold on debut. Ran fourth at recent trial. In the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Dijon Autre to cut the mustard.
3 02:50 SKY INTERNATIONAL CLASS 3 BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 1262m
Anticipate a moderate tempo is a race devoid of recognised speedsters. PRORATA (2) progressive gelding resuming. Comes to hand quickly and finds a winnable race from the inside gate. Looked to be trucking in his only trial and can finish over the top of these. ORSUM (7) much better effort with the 60.5kg when a slogging third over 1206m in the heavy going at Port Macquarie. Blinkers go on and drops sharply in weight with Boyd's 3kg claim. Races best with his runs spaced and sure to be thereabouts. DEHERO (6) massive performance first up at the big odds when attacking the line for a solid fifth at Newcastle over 900m. Struck trouble at the start and held up in the straight when eleventh over 1000m at Muswellbrook. Ready for the 1200m now and expect to see her race closer to the speed. CLUEDO (3) has been in the market at her last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start running fourth at Port Macquarie. Can sneak into the finish.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Prorata to resume on a winning note.
4 03:25 JACK & CO MAIDEN HANDICAP 1312m
Solid tempo set by Satono Invader and She's So Fly. SATONO INVADER (7) was an easing favourite on debut when a tenacious on pace second over 1212m at Coffs Harbour. Expected to have taken great benefit from that run and looks the one to beat from the good gate. RIVER BISCOTTE (16) at his top now fourth up and down in the weights with the winkers coming off. Drifted back further than anticipated and battled late when fourth over 1200m at Port Macquarie. Luke Rolls keeps the ride and expect to see him push forward from the sticky gate. TAKE A BREAK (18) eleven-start maiden who drops 3.5kg for this after knocking up late when fourth over 1200m at Tuncurry in the heavy going. Firmer track helps his cause and goes well here.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Satono Invader can go one better.
5 04:05 BLE BUILDING COUNTRY BOOSTED CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1007m
Strong tempo, primarily from So Koby and Toyger. Tough race with plenty of chances. QUEEN OF A HAND (8) consistent mare who returned in good order when a sharp winner over the 808m at Coffs Harbour. Expected to handle the class rise with Farr's claim from the low draw. SO KOBY (6) shoots for a hat-trick. Took control a long way from home last start when she scored a stylish win at Grafton. Can go on with it. TOYGER (5) was a first-up winner over 1000m at Port Macquarie by a neck last time out. Will only be fitter and can feature again. WHAT A RUSH (10) resumes off a let-up. Has decent fresh form and likes the conditions. Worth including in all multiples.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 8,6,5,10.
6 04:40 BAKEWELL HAULAGE 'WIN & YOU'RE IN THE 2025 KRAMBACH CUP' BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 1614m
Nature Boy has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. SPIRITLY (8) best form is over this trip and trained locally. Jumped quickly in distance when a plugging third over 2100m at Tuncurry in a strong rating contest. IMPERIAL HILTON (6) recent efforts have been below par and comes back to his preferred trip today. Struggled in the heavy going with the big weight when a plodding sixth over 2100m at Tuncurry. Desperate for the firmer deck and goes into the exotics. MISSION TO WIN (4) is shooting for a hat-trick of wins after scoring by 0.8 lengths over 1612m at Coffs Harbour on September 4. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. SEETHING CHUCK (11) has had two runs since a break, the latest a fourth over 1400m at Tuncurry, beaten 4 lengths. Fitter for recent racing. Place hope.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 8,6,4,11.
7 05:20 MCALPIN & MAURER AUTOMOTIVE BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1412m
Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by All Too Rosey. THE COMANCHE (8) failed to stretch out on the heavy (8) track when a fading eighth over 1600m at Tuncurry on the quick backup. Visors go on with the claim and assess on the good maiden win two back. Leading player. SNEAKY RICH (15) eye-catching effort two back at the Gold Coast when finishing second, before struggling in the heavy going when a fading eleventh over 1400m at Tuncurry. Value chance who can turn it around. SMART JAZZ (6) was plagued by bad barriers at his last two runs and gets a much better setup for this. Nailed late by Mira Impact three back at Newcastle from the inside draw. Luke Rolls sticks on his preferred surface. Top three contender. AMARONE (3) goes well on his home track and comes back a level for this. Covered plenty of ground in the run and never a threat when seventh over 1400m at Grafton. Look for him doing his best work late. The chances don't end there.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 8,15,6,3.
