EXCELLENT MAN (2) settled well back and kept chasing when beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth over 1600m at this track four weeks ago. Suited back in distance having won two of the three times he has attempted it here. Beautifully placed and can give this a mighty shake. SHINTO YUTAKA (9) raced on pace and boxed on well to hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when seventh. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is set to turn things around. PEACE ONE DOLCE (5) hasn't been too far away of late so could get into the finish. YAKURAI ROSE (6) placed two back and was solid again last start, finishing fourth at this track over 1200m. Go well. |

WAIMANGU (8) did a great job to score by half a length over this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Looks well placed so expect another big run. VOLTERRA (1) improved last time out to score by 1.75 lengths over 1200m at this track. Finds another suitable race and with the aid of the inside draw could go on to make it two in a row. PAJAMA PARTY (7) can mix the form but has claims off an all-the-way win four starts back. MACCABAEUS (4) was solid last start when fifth over 1400m at this track. Can feature. |

MEDATSU YATSU (7) was a winner three back and has been good since, placing in the next run and finishing 2.2 lengths away last time at this track over 1400m. Nicely placed so has winning claims. GOOD REIGN (3) was a solid fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Expect another big run. COMPAGNON (8) never really threatened when resuming last time out, finishing midfield. Fitter so could do far better this time. MEISHO MICHI ROKU (5) has been unplaced at his last few but could play a role in this line-up. |

PERLAN (4) had put together a string of placings including a second two starts back then landed the prize by a neck last time out over 1200m at this track. Best figures measure up. Can go on with it. HARU BOTAN (11) built on a nice second two starts back with a win as favourite over 1200m at this track three weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths. Rei Iwamoto scored on her last time and retains the ride. Goes up a rung or two but she is worth serious consideration. NEVER LAND (8) is building towards another win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a third over 1200m at this track when beaten 3.5 lengths. Reika Sekimoto stays aboard. Certainly one to consider. ARAUCARIA (1) had been performing well until racing below his best last time. Draws the inside so could bounce back. |

CORVINA (4) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by a neck over 1400m at this track. Drawn to take a nice trail just off the speed. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. DOUBLE STEAL (9) ran below expectations last time when fifth as favourite but had recorded two wins and a placing from her prior three so is worth another chance. Can add another win to the sequence. MORION (10) put together a string of wins before she clocked-in third last time out at this track over 1200m. Has a terrific record here with three wins and one placing from four starts. Expect a bold showing. RYUNO CORSA (2) resumes after a break of four months. Looking to emulate his debut win over 1000m at Funabashi to kick off last prep. Capable of playing a major role. NEVIS (1) ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 1400m at this track. Well drawn so anticipating another bold showing. |

Beautifully placed and is likely to be there at the finish. RYUNO NAPOLEON (5) was a winner three starts back and ran a decent race and finished fourth last time out over 1700m at Morioka. Looks one of the major players. PPALLIPPALLI RISE (11) won four back and is close to breaking through again after two consecutive placings, the latest at this track over 1600m. Generally goes well here. Winning claims. PINK NO BARA (2) draws well and has claims off a second two back. |

Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. LEVANT UNIVERS (5) is close to a win based on recent form, the latest effort a commendable second against better opposition over 1800m in the G3 Leopard Stakes at Niigata Dirt.
