RAIKONO HIKARI (10) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 2000m at Urawa after being prominent at the turn. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is right in contention. LONGING NICE (3) ran below expectations last time out when 13th over 1800m at this track. Better than last start and worth another chance. |

HERO CALL (4) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2000m at Urawa, beaten 4 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the corner. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins. The engagement of Tsubasa Sasagawa is noteworthy. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. POWER BROKING (5) settled well back from a good draw last time before getting home nicely to finish fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1400m at Saga. Was outdashed but got going late and the longer journey looks ideal. Can feature in the finish. |
