AUSTRALIA HANDICAP 1650m
THE AZURE (3) led them up at this track and trip 21 days ago but dropped off to be beaten 4L following a strong run prior. Now Purton takes the ride and he drops back into Class 5 for the first time today. Looks a targeted attack and he can shed the maiden tag. KASA PAPA (2) hasn't won for a very long time but he has run some good races here in recent times. While he was disappointing last start, he has trialled well since and his ratings two back suggest he's close to a win. Draws well for Bowman and can go close to ending the winning drought. INVINCIBLE MISSILE (6) stormed home last start to just miss at this course and distance most recently and rates highly on that effort. Likely to get back in the run again but can be running over the top of them late. MANYTHANKS FOREVER (7) won't be far away if he can run up to recent efforts. |

FRANCE HANDICAP 1200m
WINNING HEART (3) has been very good his past couple, finishing just 0.5L off the winner last start at this track and trip. He now gets Purton in the saddle and he draws to settle midfield as recent efforts. Just needs to hold his form and should be right in the finish. FAIRY HORSE (2) went to 1650m on the All Weather last start and never got a chance when always well back. His run at this track and trip prior was much better and those figures stack up in this race. Can bounce back to form with Bowman in the saddle. TATTENHAM (6) won his recent trial at Conghua and gets the tongue tie on again today. Maps nicely for Pouchin and can go close on his best form. SPEEDY CHARIOT (8) has been around the mark of late and should get his chance today with Doyle in the saddle. |

GREAT BRITAIN HANDICAP 1650m
LUCKY TOUCH (2) is the one to beat off a dominant 1.3L victory here as favourite 21 days ago. While drawn out again, he showed good early speed last time out and can press on again under Purton. Seemed to relish the rise in trip last time and can land the knockout blow once again. YOUTH POWER (12) was very good two back before a disappointing effort here last time out. He is 0/8 at Happy Valley, though he rates highly on his previous figures and he draws to get every chance this time. Can bounce back in a big way. CORLEONE (4) looks a progressive type who was still doing plenty wrong last start. He's been back to the trials since and Bowman remains in the saddle. Still looks a progressive type who can put his best foot forward today. MIGHTY STRENGTH (3) steps out to this trip for the first time though it does look to suit. Can make his presence felt. |

LONGINES INTERNATIONAL JOCKEYS' CHAMPIONSHIP (HANDICAP) - 1ST LEG 1000m
The first leg of the IJC and William Buick can get off to a winning start with LEAN MASTER (3). He's been good his past couple under an apprentice hoop his past couple, beaten 0.3L most recently when favourite. He maps for a beautiful run and with some improvement expected, he can win the first leg. PARENTS' LOVE (10) was far too good from the front last start when leading throughout and winning by 0.8L. He bolted in at the trials recently and the horse that trialled behind him has won twice since. Ho rides now and he rates a leading chance. CIRCUIT SEVEN (8) is knocking on the door of another victory, finishing 1.3L off most recently when closing off strongly here. He's been right around the mark his past couple and it wouldn't surprise to see him get the job done. CHAMPION METHOD (4) beat a few of these last start when running over the top to score. Should be going close again. |

LONGINES INTERNATIONAL JOCKEYS' CHAMPIONSHIP (HANDICAP) - 2ND LEG 1650m
Leg 2 of the IJC and CHARMING STEED (9) looks the one to beat for Zac Purton. His recent form is very hard to knock, posting two big wins over this track and trip in easier grade. While this is tougher, he has made a meal of them last start and he drops in weight with Purton replacing the apprentice hoop. Ticks plenty of boxes and can win again. JUMBO FORTUNE (4) doesn't boast the best strike rate here but he has been more consistent since moving to the Eustace barn. Bowman rides today and the visors replace the blinkers. Likely to get back in the run but he should be sailing home if he gets clear air. LUCKY BANNER (8) will roll to the front under Vincent Ho and take some catching if his recent efforts are anything to go by. He was only 1.8L off the winner last start and a repeat effort should see him go close. SURE JOYFUL (1) is racing well and rates highly on his past couple efforts. |

SMART FIGHTER (10) capitalised on his recent run of form with a good win here 38 days ago. He's been kept up to the mark with a nice trial recently and now he draws well again with McDonald hopping in the saddle. Only rises 1kg and can bring up back-to-back wins. MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE (4) showed enough on debut when rattling home to just miss over this course and distance, beaten a head. He was still green in the run there and he'll have taken great benefit from the experience. Can improve off that effort and go one better this time. STREET CONQUEROR (2) got the job done as an equal favourite last time out, beaten Masterofmyuniverse here first-up. He is a second-up winner previously and he's expected to be right in the finish once again. TEAM HAPPY (5) is much better than he showed last time out and can bounce back. |

LONGINES INTERNATIONAL JOCKEYS' CHAMPIONSHIP (HANDICAP) - 3RD LEG 1650m
SUPER UNICORN (10) was first across the line but lost on protest here a fortnight ago in a very stiff outcome. He only rises 0.5kg today though and it could be a blessing in disguise. Barzalona rides from gate one and he can get the job done this time around. JUMBO LEGEND (8) rocketed home from last to win narrowly here last time out. He'll need a touch of luck from the draw, but he mightn't be as far back as recent efforts. Clocked some good splits when storming home last start and he can repeat the dose this time. SILO (5) was 2L away last time out following a good run at Sha Tin two back. He gets Teetan in the saddle now and he should be going close if he can run up to recent form. DARING PURSUIT (6) was too good first-up and has to be included with upside to come and Ryan Moore in the saddle. |

LONGINES INTERNATIONAL JOCKEYS' CHAMPIONSHIP (HANDICAP) - 4TH LEG 1200m
STORMING DRAGON (12) is a progressive talent who shed the maiden tag last start as favourite over this track and trip. He drops right down in the weights today and his recent ratings suggest he's up to this grade. King rides now and she can win the final leg of the IJC. SPICY GOLD (9) made it a hat-trick when scoring by 1L here 49 days ago. He's had two quiet trials since that effort as he lands here dropping 4.5kg in weight. Kawada rides and if he can continue on his upward trajectory, he'll be very hard to hold out. GIANT LEAP (10) led and bolted in here 28 days ago and is another who rises in grade off a win. Purton rides from an inside draw though which is a big tick. Suspect we haven't seen the best of him yet and he can raise the bar again today. KYRUS DRAGON (3) was very good last start when winning in this grade and has to be included. |

STUNNING PEACH (8) turned in a huge run first-up over the mile at Sha Tin only beaten 1.8L when finding trouble right down the straight. He's had two trials since then as he's 45 days between runs, but up to this trip is a big tick and Purton sticks. Profiles beautifully for a race like this and he can get the job done. FLAMINGO TRILLION (9) has just missed his past couple over this course and distance and steps up to this trip where he's won 3/4. He will roll forward from the outside draw and make his own luck on speed. Drops 1kg from last start and can go one better this time. CHILL CHIBI (3) beat home flamingo trillion last time out and now gets McDonald in the saddle. He maps nicely and is 1/1 at this track and trip. Should be making an impression late in the race. RED HARE KING (10) steps up to this trip for the first time but it looks to suit off recent efforts. Looks a live chance down in the weights. |
