Early speed is anticipated from Ladwell and Classic Conquest. LADWELL went to a Nowra non-TAB on debut and couldn't have done much more when romping home by 8.5L as an odds on favourite. Only beat a small field and this is tougher but he should be improved the experience. Classic Conquest and Ladwell will get along here at a strong clip. LADWELL was sent out as odds-on favourite on debut recently in a non-tab event here and made a one-act affair of the 1200m maiden, scoring by 8.5L. The quality of the opposition is questionable but he did look impressive. Will derive benefit from that experience and although this is a much tougher assignment he seems capable of taking that next step. YAMA MAGIC stormed home to score over 1000m at Goulburn two runs back then stepped up to 1200m at Moruya last start and lacked the same dash over the concluding stages when just out of the placings. Very fit now and is suited coming back a little in distance. The very honest mare CLASSIC CONQUEST chased the promising Denman Dreaming all the way when a long neck second over 1020m at Moruya last start. Rarely runs a bad race and will race handy and give herself every chance again. FREEDOM FIGHTER was sound first up. Lumped the same weight over this course and distance last prep when beaten a lip so must have some claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Playing the multiples around 4, 8, 7 and 2.
