Plenty of pressure on from the outset with some speedy types engaged in the good-sized field. ACO (8) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish second over 1400m at this track at her latest appearance. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run and is expected to be in the finish. MITONO WARRIOR (9) ran below expectations last time at Nagoya over 2000m, finishing fourth. Makoto Okabe who has scored on him six times retains the mount. Expecting a bold showing. HAYAIMONO GACHI (12) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1400m. Proving a good combination with Mikio Fujiwara with three straight placings. Has winning claims on best figures. WIN JACK (11) did well last start but found one better over 1500m at Nagoya, beaten only half a length. Best figures measure up and is in the mix.
