He takes a drop in class and rates well as a leading chance. BLACK EGRET (4) showed good signs of a form return last time. He has won three times, finished second once and third twice from eight starts over this distance. If confirming his recent improvement, he should be involved at the finish. WINGS WITHIN ME (7) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a long neck from the winner in third over 1200m at this track. Likely improver with strong each-way prospects. DR FAUSTUS (5) resumes from a spell today after filling a minor placing at his last appearance at Turffontein Inside over 1000m. Looks a strong top-three prospect and should be included in exotic bets.
