I Am Wanted can take up the running with Dane Thunder and Le Boss looking for handy spots. I Am Wanted should get the lead here without too many hassles and the pace thereafter looks to be dawdling only. The consistent DANE THUNDER was ridden more positively last start over a similar trip to this at Moonee Valley and responded well by fighting hard to finish runner up despite being trapped deep. Has been going around in vastly superior races to this of late and performing admirably. Looks the one they have to beat back to this grade. BATTLE ORDER was coming back from a nine week let up when easily accounted for over the mile at Moonee Valley last start. Recorded an impressive third over this course and distance the run before, coming from well back. Fitter now and suited by this small field. LE BOSS has returned in good style this prep, with a fine third last start over the 1600m at Pakenham where he found the line well. Would prefer he was stepping up in trip now but still rates a chance in Class 1 company. Last start winner I AM WANTED looks to get a soft lead and can run a cheeky race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Taking quinellas with 1, 7, 3.
