Expecting Meisho Gekirin to take up the running with Meiner Enigma and Ras Hammel close at hand. COPANO SANTOS (5) was well supported when resuming last time out over 2200m at Chukyo and proved too strong, scoring by 1.75 lengths. Will be better for that latest run and looks sure to run well again. Can make it back-to-back wins. MEISHO GEKIRIN (9) is grade 3 placed. Resumes from a spell of four-and-a-half months after closing off last preparation with three consecutive minor placings. Kohei Matsuyama is yet to win when aboard but has never been out of the money from three rides. Leading contender. RAS HAMMEL (1) was quickly into stride over 2000m at Fukushima when resuming last time and dug deep to score by a head. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. FORTUNE CODE (7) returned from a spell four weeks ago when she was beaten 6 lengths into fifth over 2000m at Hanshin. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
