Solid tempo expected primarily from Midwest and Philosopher. TWIN PERFECTION (4) has been given a freshen-up since going back-to-back nearly 8 weeks ago at Ballarat in a 5-horse field. He showed a lot of courage under the guidance of Brian Higgins who is unbeaten in 4 rides on the gelding. He has 3 wins over this trip and can complete the hat-trick. PERILOUS FIGHTER (11) did not stretch out in Stakes company at Flemington 5 weeks ago and his effort prior at this level on this track when second is the better guide to use when assessing his chances in this. He is a progressive colt who will make the grade eventually and he is worth another chance here. LA DANSEUSE ROUGE (8) is resuming from a spell that would have done her the world of good and she races well fresh up. Each-way. LARIMER STREET (3) is not to be discounted.
