AWAKING (8) is going well, scoring by 3 lengths two runs back when resuming at Chukyo before finishing fourth last time over 1200m at Hanshin. Major player once again. PIKO SAN (6) has not raced since he finished fifth over 1200m at Sapporo on September 3. Kicked off the maiden campaign with a placing at Hakodate so anticipating a big run. KURINO HALLELUJAH (15) returned from a spell four weeks ago when she was in contention on the bend before being beaten 4 lengths into seventh over 1200m at Nakayama. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
