Good tempo with Two Punks and Lord Sage leading the way. VOLGOGRAD (1) has strung together a couple of wins at this track, the latest on March 24 over 1750m when he scored by 1.5 lengths. Winning rider Takuto Demizu retains the mount. Finds a suitable race and can salute once again. AURIGA TESORO (10) resumes from a spell of nine weeks and is having his outing under new trainer Shinichi Higashi. Finished 16th at Kyoto Dirt over 1400m at the opening run last time in work. Has ability and should be right in the finish. TWO PUNKS (9) missed the placings last time out over this distance at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has a very good record here including three wins from six starts. Should be competitive. DRUM (2) had been in sparkling form winning two races on end but missed the frame most recently when tenth over 1750m at this track. In the mix here.
