Genuine tempo with the speedy Ryuno Chacha leading the way. MARBLE MIMI (1) improved sharply with a win over 1400m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 1.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Well placed this time and expected to be in the finish again. RYUNO CHACHA (8) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1500m at this track. Can figure in the finish. MEINER TWICE (6) last appeared a month ago over 1700m at Sonoda when he finished tenth. This is his first run for the Seiji Sukita stable. Can make his presence felt. CURREN LEVENTIS (9) improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track. Finds a nice race and can keep improving.
