The race pace in this last event of the meeting, a Maiden over 1200m, looks to be suspect after so many scratchings. TINY DIAMOND (8) resumed from a spell last start with a sound second over 1200m at Otaki. Can go one better here second up no matter the footing. Has not really gone a bad race lifetime. CAMPALDINO (9) is a 3yo gelding on debut. Six times trialled for an easy win and a fourth. Dam has left the full brother Zappolino (1 win). TARZANA (14) is a 3yo filly on debut.
