Solid tempo anticipated with Mandriana taking charge. Looks a wide-open contest. The well-related CHATTERLEY (2) (half to G2 winner and 2xG1-placed Mamaragan) resumes here but has been tuned up for this with a recent trial and is sure to find this easier than what she was contesting in when last in work. Is yet to miss a drum in three first-up attempts and can feature despite the sticky draw. STEIN (11) grows a leg for hoop Fenlon who has a win and two placings from just three steers and will be rock-hard fit for this fourth-up from the spell. Looks well placed against this line-up. STRADA VARENNA (1) is having the first run for the Gollan yard but brings solid Sydney formlines to the table and gets some weight relief with the 3kg claim. In the mix. VANESSI (4) has placed two of four over this distance range and is drawn to get a cosy run in transit from the inside alley. Can run a race while fresh. SHE OURS (3) doesn't win out of turn but is usually thereabouts and may earn some minor money. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chatterley to return a winner.
