RAFFAELLA ANGEL (9) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 2000m at Urawa. Should be on-pace despite the tricky draw. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BOLD CHAR (8) finished 3 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1600m at this track five-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance today. Tsubasa Sasagawa who has four wins when partnering stays on. Sure to play a big role. ASAMA (3) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1800m at this track. Will be up on the speed from the low draw. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. HIGH TIDE (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Urawa, finishing second and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 2000m. Looks well placed so expect a bold display.
