Hot pace certain with Richanco and Protege keen to take up the running. The promising RICHANCO (4) led and bolted in over this course and distance last time out, scoring an impressive debut victory. He looks an above average horse and we'll get a guide on his form through earlier races. Can work his way through the grades with a win in this. WEERAECHOUX (8) resumes today with a nice trial at Lark Hill under his belt. He's a winner first-up in the past and Brad Parnham sticks from the trial. Can make a statement on resumption. ELBOW LOUNGE (2) should benefit from the fresh run on the Scarpside here and can be an improver. PROTEGE (3) is a progressive type with nice formlines from last campaign. No public trials make him very interesting. SUGGESTED PLAY: Richanco can go back-to-back.
