Genuine tempo from Clavadatsch leading Capper Thirtynine. Looks an open race. CLAVADATSCH (7) struggled when in the market at Sandown-Hillside two back but improved last time to run third, again when hard in the market at Cranbourne. Still improving with just six starts under the belt and looks a good chance in this. TROPICCONI (5) was dominant winning at Cranbourne two back before another solid effort up in grade at Sandown-Lakeside. Looks nicely placed from the good draw. CAPPER THIRTYNINE (6) is a lightly raced 3yo who was solid on resumption at Pakenham. Can get into the finish. CORONATION KEITH (1) found a strong Bm70 at Caulfield two hot last time but can bounce back with his previous form reading well. TIZJAMMY (3) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Clavadatsch.
