King's Express has enough early speed to find the lead at a decent clip. FOSTINOVO (2) resumed from a spell last start and ran a decent race to finish third of 10 in his last start over this distance at Turffontein. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. KING'S EXPRESS (1) won a good race in his last start over this distance. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He gets the services of a 4kg claiming apprentice and rates well as one of the leading contenders. TWO MILES WEST (3) won well last start over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time when sent out as the favourite. He takes on on stronger rivals but should be well up to the task at hand. LEESON (5) has had two runs this prep and placed in both runs, including last start over 2400m at the favourite. He has won once, finished second once and third twice from five starts on this course. He is having his peak run today and can finish in the placings.
