She raced wide around the turn over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course last time and lacked a finish in the straight. She has won twice from three starts over this distance. If suited to this surface she should prove hard to beat. ESTHER (1) has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. She shows good speed in her races and may be hard to peg back. PARIS LASS (8) is resuming from a spell and is a winner previously at this track and distance when produced fresh-up. Is worth a second look. GOLDEN PACIFIC (2) is an ultra-consistent filly who hasn't missed a place in her last 10 starts and a five time winner in the sequence. Rates a winning chance from the inside gate.
