SMALT (3) is close to breaking through after finishing second last start over 1230m at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. A SHIN JET (4) raced on the speed last start over this course and distance and stuck on well to finish second, beaten 1.75 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. JO PATIO (6) turned things around last start and landed the prize by half a length over 1400m at this track. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
