Onushi Nanimono and Sail On Sailor to set a strong early tempo joined by Gold Legs pushing on from an outside draw. ONUSHI NANIMONO (5) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 2 lengths over 1500m at Kanazawa. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. GOLD LEGS (9) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a third over 1400m at this track when beaten 1.3 lengths. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Sure to be in the finish. LEITCH (2) has been in great form, winning two on end before back-to-back placings, the latest when beaten 4.5 lengths into third over 1400m at Saga. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. SAIL ON SAILOR (6) saluted two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when second over 1900m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
